Maryann Minutillo: Reflecting on a Lifetime of Service, Adventure and Wonder
My guest this week is Maryann Minutillo, who I met many (many) years ago when her spouse Bob and my father were stationed at the US Embassy in Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. Maryann brought her curiosity and intellect to getting to know me, a 19 year-old, which still surprises me to this day. Maryann shares with me how she and her husband navigated many years in the US Foreign Service, and how their roles reversed when she became the Peace Corps Country Director for Bolivia, which was followed by an outstanding 20-year career. Strategic, organized, and thoughtful, it is Maryann's humanity and kindness that comes through most in our conversation. I loved speaking with her.
